SLAPPA believes in protecting the privacy of our customers. This policy describes the personal information we collect about you, why we collect it, how we use it, and when we share it with third parties. Our policy also describes the choices you can make about how we collect and use your information.
The Information We Collect
We may collect and store any identifiable information that you choose to provide in connection with your use of slappa.com, slappa.ca, slappa.co.uk and slappa.com.au. This may include personally identifiable information (such as your name, shipping address, billing address, email address, phone number and credit card number) that we need in order to process your orders, communicate with you, or provide you with services that you request.
We may automatically collect non-personally identifiable information about your hardware devices (i.e., your computer or mobile device) when you access our sites (slappa.com, slappa.ca, slappa.co.uk and slappa.com.au). For example, when you visit SLAPPA.com (the “Site”), we may collect your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, which is the number automatically assigned to your computer or mobile device whenever you access the Internet, as well as information about the type of Web browser software you use and the referring Web site. This number does not identify your name, email address, or other personal information. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our service and to administer the Site.
How We Use Information About You
We use your shipping address to ship your products to you and to send catalogs, special offers and other mailings to you. We use your billing address, if different than your shipping address, to verify your billing information. Financial information that is collected is used to bill you for products that you request. You may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see “How to remove your name from our mailing, sharing or email list” below.
If you sign up for email or if you provide your email address to us, we will send you emails. These emails will inform you of newly released products, sales, promotional offers from either Slappa or our partners, and other useful product tips.
We never share our customer names or addresses, e-mail addresses or other personally identifiable information, other than to the extent described in the “Disclosures of Your Information” section below. If you do not wish to receive catalogs or other mailings from us, please see the “How to remove your name from our mailing, sharing or email list” section below.
The Use of Personal Information About You
We may share your personal information in the following ways:

For Your Security
We protect the security of your information during transmission by using 128-bit encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software. SSL offers the highest level of protection available for all of your Internet communication (including credit card use and financial transactions) and encrypts information you input.
We reveal, display or communicate only the last four digits of your credit card number when confirming an order. We do of course transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during the order processing and only to that company.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Always be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
